Random Acts of Kindness

Coming soon - Imagine your child getting a surprise at their front door? Why? Well, why not? Random Acts of Kindness was created to grant the wishes of children just for the heck of it. In the coming months, watch for details and applications. Children can fill out applications for things that they desire, or someone else can nominate a child to receive a gift from us. All applications will be put into a lottery system and randomly picked out. A committee will review the child's request, purchase the item and deliver it directly to them. Applications will also always be kept in the lottery so only one request will be allowed per child and there will always be a chance it can be chosen. What's the catch? The gift a child desires must help improve their physical, emotional or spiritual well-being. So, if a child wants Grand Theft Auto 4 for their Playstation - sorry. If a child wants an art easel, drawing supplies, a soccer ball, a trip to the museum, even a computer - absolutely. The committee will determine if the request falls into the guidelines. So, watch for the start of Random Acts of Kindness coming soon - oh, and one more thing. This program will rely on contributions from the community. Our initial intent will be to give one request away per month. Depending on donations, our goal is to be able to give away on request per week.
