Success Stories
The following are stories of actual patients that have been or are still under care at BodyWise. Names and any personal information have been changed according to HCFA guidlineos.
1 - Toni (age 6): Toni's aunt had brought her in for a wellness exam after being under care herself for a year and experiencing greater health and wellness, as well as far less problems with her lower back that was at times debilitating due to a herniated disc. Toni had asthma and was using an inhaler as well as a nebulizer to open up her breathing on a daily basis. After an exam and being scanned with the Insight Millenium, nervous system interference was found in Toni's upper middle back, as well as in her neck. And, after reviewing her diet, she was found to have a lot of dairy as a staple in her diet everyday. Her aunt was told to eliminate all dairy from her diet and she was adjusted that day. After 3 adjustments, Toni's aunt reported her breathing much improved and that she had not used the nebulizer once since starting chiropractic care. Toni has been under care for 6 months now, has not used any inhaler or nebulizer in months and is doing great. Her brother has since joined her under wellness care.
2 - Brian (age 11)was brought in my his parents, after being diagnosed with ADHD by his school nurse and psychologist. They had been told he needed medication to stop being "figity" and to be able to focus. On exam, it was found that Brian was eating breakfast at school and was being served Fruit Loops and PopTarts. His Insight scan also found nervous system intereferene at the top of his neck. After his first adjustment, and removing his high sugar breakfast and replacing it with a good, healthy one, his parent reported an immediate change in Brian's behavior. His teacher told them the same and said what ever they were doing, to keep doing it. Brian's brother, Matt (age 3), has since joined him for wellness care and was reported to have chronic ear infections/fluid in his ears. He has not had an ear infection since starting care and his ears are clear of fluid.
3 - Billy (age 16 months) was brought in by his father in the shape of a "C". Billy had full body torticollis, which seemed to be caused by a difficult birth. Although a content and happy child, he was also showing delayed speech and motor developement On exam , in was seen that Billy had nerve interference in his lower neck and sacrum. After 5 adjustments, Billy was straight and the torticollis was gone. He went back into torticollis about a month later, but again straightened back after being adjusted. Billy was under care for 4 months, his speech and words were 1000 times better, when the family moved out of state. About 1 year later, the mom was in town and brought Brian back in. Brian was doing well, seeing a chiropractor where they lived, but was not walking still. He could get up holding on to things, but not walk. After an exam, he had the same nerve interference in his sacrum as when I first had seen him. Billy was adjusted, and upon seeing him the next day, his mom reported that Brian had taken his first steps ever that night. Billy was adjusted one more time before the family had returned back home. I was happy to see them about a year later crossing the street toward BodyWise, mom holding Billy's hand as he walked across the street.
4 - Angela (age 18) - Angela had migraines all her life. Even as an infant, her pediatrician said she must have been having them, due to her severe, excessive crying. She was said to survive SIDS as a child and had been on multiple medications to try to control the headaches to lead somewhat of a normal life. Her mom brought her in during college break, because she had passed by and figured she had nothing to lose. After examing Angela, it was found that she had major nerve interference at the first vertebra in her neck (called the Atlas). She started care and after one month, she was headache free. She continued care through the summer, weaning off her meds she had been on her whole life and went back to school in the Fall, still headache free. She has since found a chiropractor near her school to continue care and maintain a wellness program.
